DONATE
The coronavirus pandemic is hitting the refugee women we work with particularly hard, making it even more difficult for them to find safety in the UK. If you can, please donate to enable us to continue to support refugee women through this crisis and beyond.
SHARE
Asylum-seeking women's experiences very often go unseen and unheard. It takes courage to share these stories, but as the members of our drama group say, "History remembers those who record their lived experience."

These stories need to be heard. Please follow us on social media and share this exhibition, using #SistersNotStrangers:
LEARN
Women who have come to the UK to seek safety are instead being made homeless, hungry and vulnerable to abuse.
This year, Women for Refugee Women published ‘Will I ever be safe?’, the largest recent research into how asylum-seeking women in the UK who are made destitute survive (with no access to statutory housing, financial support or right to work).

ABOUT WOMEN FOR REFUGEE WOMEN
Women for Refugee Women is a small London-based charity that works to enable women who are seeking safety in the UK to communicate their own stories and needs.
We empower refugee and asylum-seeking women to speak out, become leaders and advocate for change. Through English lessons, drama and other activities we support women to build their confidence and skills and to work towards a fairer asylum process. Our network helps to combat the isolation faced by women seeking asylum and creates pathways for women to rebuild their lives with dignity.
